On November the 14th last year my sister gave birth to a baby boy, by Christmas her partner (the baby’s father) had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease and had undergone his first dose of chemotherapy.
Now nearly a year later he has received his final course of treatment and has been given the all clear from the doctors, he is now officially in remission.
As you can imagine this past year has been a difficult time for the whole family and they have received lots of help from lots of people and organisations and Cancer Research Cynnon Valey in particular so this Christmas I’ve decided to give something back to them to help them keep up their good work so I will be running 3 races to raise money.
